ITS COMING OCTOBER 17!
The Carolinas PGA Section is proud to announce Tobacco Road Golf Club as its 2009 host of the Carolinas PGA Golf League Championship. Back there for its second year, the 2009 Championship Tournament will get underway on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 9:00 am!
League participants in last year’s Championship were awe-struck by the course and enjoyed playing in their leagues using the software as their administration tool. The icing on the cake of course was being able to travel to Sanford, N.C. and experience the atmosphere of Tobacco Road. One of four Mike Strantz designed golf courses in the Carolinas, Tobacco Road is well-known for its varying landscapes, crater-like bunkers and mind-boggling blind shots. Tobacco Road was named the 10th toughest golf course in the United States in 2007 by Golf Digest and has been heralded as “golf’s rock-and-roll thrill-ride.”
If you're part of our 2009 Carolinas PGA Golf League Championship, you're already signed up for the opportunity to play at Tobacco Road Golf Club in October - all you need to do now is win your league! Don't want to be left out? Contact your local Carolinas PGA Professional and tell him or her that you would like your league to be a part of the Carolinas PGA Golf League Championship! All it takes is at least ten, two-person teams and at least a ten, nine-hole round schedule! Participants in this year's League Championship season pay only $7.50 per player and top teams play in the Championship at no additional cost! You can't go wrong!
Aside from the amazing chance to play at one of the Carolinas' finest courses, you get the use of the league software found at www.carolinasgolfleague.com. From one website, all of your league participants can keep track of their stats, scores, standings, holes-in-one, and even most improved player! League administrators get the satisfaction of knowing that with this system, all the guess work is taken out of scoring, and all league functions can be done using the system - you can even print out scorecards for your league each week!
Check out the three-week (two-round) trial to see how it can make your league experience more fun for everyone! And remember to contact your local Carolinas PGA Professional for more information on getting your league in the running for the Championship!
